Kirra, has a captivating face
For all she meets.
This is the hospital I was admitted, after having had a heart attack.
My GP was excellent throughout, she walked with me from the surgery to the Emergency Unit. Professional and Caring, and although very young, she has the right qualities for her role as a GP.
I am forever in her debt. I commend her actions.
To all those who are running in the GREAT NORTH RUN, and raising much needed funds for both local and national Charities.
WE SALUTE YOU.
Enjoy the day :)
One could be forgiven, upon viewing this photo
My poor dog, has to decide upon her mode of transport.
Greek restaurant
By night, during the day – English.
I would luv to visit and try out some of the dishes, but dad says it’s past my bed time.
As the photo portrays my dog outside a French Restaurant and a French vehicle alongside.
One could be forgiven, in thinking, we were in France.
Cold is the night
On this a moon lit night.
Condensation on windows
No sleep this night
As aching bones
And bronchial disease
The need instead
Survive the night.
Damp are the clothes
Soiled of days
Discarded the many
Once neatly packed
Change of clothing, plus one towel
My cleanliness, is brief
As a mud soaked floor
And a shower of 50pence
Deprives me of all status
As Homeless, here you can find.
Days of cold and rain
Frequent of these British Isles
No place to dry
As the nights become longer
The urgency is apparent
Need to survive.
Viewed with suspicion
No friends in sight
Stench of damp clothing
This is my plight.
Black are the clouds
Of another rain filled sky
Black is the depression
That now soaks my eyes.
Gaze upon a moon lit night
From the comfort of your home
Think not of the homeless
Brothers and sisters
Cold is the night
They must endure the plight.
Stale bread and water
My diet of the night
Is this life?
You have status
Remember, so too
Once, had ‘I’.

Here you can clearly see my dog leaving the old gaol. One might say she had a Saturday night on the tiles and ended up here.
although she has a good alibi, she kept me awake most of the night, with her snoring (curled up in her basket).
Time out, after an exhausting walk with my Dad.
Now the need to curl up behind the curtains, is essential for one’s snooze.
I do have lots of other places, however, behind the curtains has become a favourite of mine.
Do you like to hide out somewhere – for a snooze?
The rail line is not used as much today, as in the past. However, the speed of the commuter train does mean the importance of being alert when crossing with one’s dog.
I could see the train some distance away, at the station (stationery I am pleased to say).
It is still an obstacle course to negotiate with steps (which my dog does not like to go up) or the gate, which one has to quite literally lift up to open and close. I am exhausted at each end of the line. All to enable us to enjoy a run in the park and watch the golfers at the club.
