The rail line is not used as much today, as in the past. However, the speed of the commuter train does mean the importance of being alert when crossing with one’s dog.
I could see the train some distance away, at the station (stationery I am pleased to say).
It is still an obstacle course to negotiate with steps (which my dog does not like to go up) or the gate, which one has to quite literally lift up to open and close. I am exhausted at each end of the line. All to enable us to enjoy a run in the park and watch the golfers at the club.
