Living so close to a Military Training Area, does mean the misfortune of hearing guns and the sound echoing throughout the moors can be distressing for my Kirra.
Hence, sometimes she remains on a leash, as soon as she hears the guns, her intention is to get back home quickly. Hopefully she will get used to the sounds and that she will not come to any harm.
Has anyone had similar response from their pets, and how did they deal with it.
Oh dear that must be scary for Kirra!
ReplyDeleteAmie Soto Blossom never worried about noise, we could take her to firework parties and she would never bat an eye lid... at 6 months she was ace.
ReplyDeleteI think it's just that some dogs react more to sound than others. We spent years watching lightening storms out of the windows with another of our dogs. She always hated the bang. Don't think your going to win this one to be honest, BUT you never know, hope someone out there has an idea. Kira, your looking as beautiful as ever.......... :-) X X X
Freya Rose Blossom sends her love, she is far too busy digging in the mud in our veggie garden to come to the keyboard ! X
