My Kirra being a ‘Ruby’ blends beautifully during the Autumn.
This is Kirra when she first arrived at my home. The weather was terrible, heavy rain, gale force winds and she had just come over from the mainland to the island I was living on.
She has now greatly improved with a lovely canvas travel carrier, which she loves. as her quiet moments. She is still my Irish Princess (having been born in Ireland).
The abbey grounds and park are great locations for dog walkers and for anyone who wishes to enjoy the quiet of the day.
Perhaps even more so, when the bells chime on a Sunday morning.
Kirra had her photo taken in the park the other Sunday. As it was a pet parade organised by our local newspaper.
Upon checking their website, I found my loving companion, but under the name of ‘Amelia’.
I will have to call into their office on Monday and have this corrected, before the photos of all the dogs are published in the local newspaper this coming Friday.
After all my Kirra needs to be recognised under her own name.
